Review by hotel critic
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the QT Hotel in Newcastle, where the facilities made quite an impression. The self-service check-in and checkout process was efficient and user-friendly, allowing for a seamless transition upon arrival and departure. Though my work commitments limited my time in the room, I found the luxurious design and meticulous cleanliness of both my accommodation and public areas to be noteworthy. The ambiance throughout the hotel was warm, maintaining a sense of tranquility, which I particularly appreciated as a history teacher accustomed to the bustling environment of Shanghai. During my stay, I explored the rooftop area, which was surprisingly well designed, showcasing QT's attention to detail. While I was disappointed that the restaurant was closed for Christmas, I managed to indulge in a delightful breakfast in the bar upstairs. The creative menu options left me eager for a return visit, especially to fully experience their culinary innovation. QT Hotel stands out as a refined stay for both business and leisure travelers, and I would gladly return for a longer getaway.
